01 De auteur:
Ruud Haan is van oorsprong een “ICT-er”. Na bijna 30 jaar in de ICT gewerkt te hebben in de meest uiteenlopende beroepen, van programmeur, tot leidinggevende, is hij op 1 oktober 2015 gestart met “Ruud Haan Fotografie & Webdesign“. Met een gezonde nuchter blik staat hij garant voor zijn credo “betaalbare professionaliteit in webdesign en fotografie”.

De verslagen van onze Pieterpadavonturen waren oorspronkelijk te lezen op https://chemicalbrothersandsistersonpieterpad.wordpress.com/.
Via deze blog kon je op de hoogte blijven van onze Pieterpadavonturen. Waarom heette deze blog “Chemical Brothers and Sisters on Pieterpad”? Simpel. William en Ruud zijn muziekliefhebbers. Ze bezoeken regelmatig concerten en festivals. Tijdens LowLands 2004 zagen zij een indrukwekkend optreden van The Chemical Brothers. Hiervan zijn helaas geen bruikbare fragmenten op Youtube te vinden. Niet getreurd. Youtube staat vol met filmpjes van optredens van de Chemical Brothers zoals deze vanaf Glastonbury.
Op het moment dat het Pieterpadavontuur begon zochten zij een catchy naam. Dat werd al snel Chemical Brothers and Sisters. De dames doen immers ook mee! Zij zijn echter niet op LowLands aan te treffen, maar bijvoorbeeld wel op Oerol of Noorderzon.
Verwacht geen uitgebreide route-informatie. Verwacht een persoonlijk verslag van onze wandelingen. Welke tegenwoordig dan ook alleen nog maar aangevuld worden op deze site.
Daarnaast wordt deze site (zoals de naam al weergeeft) gebruikt voor andere wellicht lezenswaardige artikelen over de familie Haan.
